|This study investigates the suitability of a six-minute walk test for children with pulmonary Hypertension (p. H.). After collecting reference values on healthy test persons the walk test was performed by 13 p. - H. - patients. Children with p. H. reached 416 ±115m on average, the test persons 714±70m. Among the healthy test persons the walking distance correlated, among other things, significantly with height, weight and age, among the patients it correlated with oxygen saturation, hypertrophy of the right ventricle and the NYHA stage. The walk test proofs very suitable for the diagnostics and process control with p. - H. - patients.
