Exciting nanostructures with ultrashort laser pulses enables to generate strongly enhanced near-fields. Adjusting their evolution on nanometer length- and attosecond timescales allows precise control of the near-field driven electron motion and constitutes a key challenge for realizing ultrafast light-driven nanoelectronics. This thesis explores near-field mediated attosecond electron dynamics theoretically to develop so far lacking physical pictures for explaining recent experiments. Thereto, the light-matter interaction is modeled via classical, semi-classical and quantum simulations.
