Furthermore, they play a significant role in human diet and have positive effects on health. Due to the complexity of the structure of pectins fragments of defined structure are difficult to obtain in sufficient quantity. Therefore, new methods for the synthesis of pectin fragments are requested.&#xD;
The task of the present work was the efficient synthesis of building blocks for the preparation of pectin fragments by modular design principle.</description>
