Nevertheless, it is speculated that delivery of DFPCs in bacterially colonized periodontal pockets may cause alterations in their functional and phenotypic profile. Aim of this study was to investigate the ability of DFPCs to sense and respond to P.gingivalis lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
