This effect was more pronounced with running experimental time. Faba bean was more efficient than maize in using P from RP. The combined application of PF and AMF with RP showed better results regarding the P availability from RP than a single inoculation of either PF or AMF. An additional application of NH4NO3 to maize plants along with PF and AMF resulted in higher P uptake compared to the control without N.
