The present study was conducted to investigate the parasite fauna of four freshwater fish species (perch, Perca fluviatilis bream, Abramis brama; roach, Rutilus rutilus and rudd, Scardinius erythrophthalmus) from Lake Tollense, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (MV) during 2018-2019. In addition, parasitological raw data of similar freshwater fish species from Lake Malchin and Lake Hohen Sprenz were obtained from Pikalov (2017) for analysis and comparison. Finally, we studied the direct transfer of parasites from Lake Tollense into an open raceway flow-through aquaculture system.
