The synthetic investigations were directed to the application of C-H activation reaction. In particular, Pd-catalyzed C-H activations as well as acid mediated cycloisomerization reaction of 2-alkynyl biaryl derivatives were employed as key ring-closing synthesis steps.</field><field name="mods.abstract">Diese Dissertation befasst sich mit der Entwicklung neuer Synthesewege zu polycyclischen aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen mit fünf-, sechs- und siebengliedrigen heterocyclischen Ringen und der Charakterisierung dieser neuen Verbindungen. Die Anwendung der C-H-Aktivierungsreaktion stand im Mittelpunkt der synthetischen Untersuchungen.
