This dissertation focuses on the development of methods for synthesizing new N- and O-doped aceanthrylene derivatives as well as N-doped azulenefluorene derivatives. The synthesis strategy employs Buchwald–Hartwig reactions and/or C–H activation for cyclization. In the process, C–C and C–N bonds are formed, yielding novel heterocycl[3.3.2]azines and heterocycl[4.2.2]azines. In addition, theoretical studies on aromaticity and energy levels, as well as experimental analyses of the electronic and optical properties, are conducted.
