In der vorliegenden Dissertation werden mechanistische Aspekte der enantioselektiven
Hydrierung verschiedener prochiraler Olefine (Dehydroaminosäurederivate, Enamide,
Itaconsäurederivate) untersucht. Mit Hilfe von kinetischen Untersuchungen zur Hydrierung,
NMR-spektroskopischen Studien sowie Röntgenkristallstrukturanalysen von Intermediaten
der Reaktionen werden Beiträge zur Reaktionssequenz der jeweiligen enantioselektiven
Hydrierungen geliefert. Für sechs der untersuchten Systeme wurden Belege für die Gültigkeit
des Major-Minor-Prinzips gefunden.

This Dissertation deals with mechanistic aspects of the enantioselective hydrogenation
of different prochiral olefins (dehydroamino acid derivatives, enamides, itaconic
acid derivatives).With the help of kinetic investigations of the hydrogenation, NMR
spectroscopic studies as well as X-ray structures of intermediates of the reactions,
contributions to the reaction sequences of the respective hydrogenations shall be
provided. For six of the investigated systems support for the validity of the major-minor
principle was found.
