Gegenstand der Arbeit ist die Entwicklung und Erprobung von Konzepten und Betriebsstrategien
für die Nutzung von Rapsölen in Verbrennungsmotoren für den Einsatz in Landmaschinen.
Moderne, flexible Hochdruckeinspritzsysteme sowie die Möglichkeit über Steuergerätefunktionen
den Energieumsatz im Rapsölbetrieb gezielt zu beeinflussen, bilden eine gute Basis
für die kostengünstige Entwicklung von umweltfreundlichen Motoren mit Rapsöl als Kraftstoff.
Im Ergebnis der Arbeit stehen Konzepte und Handlungsanweisungen für die Konstruktion
von rapsöltauglichen Motoren zur Verfügung, die durch die Motorenproduzenten und umrüstende
Firmen angewendet werden können.

The subject of this thesis is to develop and to test concepts and strategies of operation
for the use of varieties of rape oil in combustion engines being used in agricultural
machines. Modern, flexible high pressure injection pump systems as well as the possibility
of influencing the energy transformation while operating with rape oil by functions
of control devices generate a good basis for a cost-efficient development of enviroment-friendly
engines run by rape oil as fuel. As a result the thesis provide concepts and guidelines
for the construction of engines suitable for rape oil being able to be used by producers
of engine or firms converting them.
