Für das HELLP-Syndrom existiert keine präklinische Diagnostik. In dieser Arbeit wurden
Plasmaprofile von HELLP-Patientinnen und gesunden Schwangeren erstellt und analysiert
(2-D-Gelelektrophosese, Massenspektrometrie). Signifikante Unterschiede ergaben Inter-alpha-Trypsin-Inhibitor
H4, Kininogen 1, Fibrinogen gamma, Transthyretin, Haptoglobin und Serum Amyloid A
(SAA). Die Plasmakonzentration von SAA liegt in der HELLP-Gruppe über 3,51 mg/l und
in der Kontrollgruppe unter 3,51 mg/l (ELISA). In unserem Patientenkollektiv ist eine
Trennung zwischen HELLP und nonHELLP möglich. Ziel ist es, HELLP-spezifische Proteinprofile
als Marker-Signaturen zu entwickeln.

There is no preclinical diagnosis for the HELLP-syndrome available. In this study
we generated profiles of plasma proteins from HELLP-patients and healthy pregnants
(2D gel electrophoresis, mass spectrometry). Statistically significant expressions
were obtained in inter-alpha-trypsin inhibitor H4, kininogen 1, fibrinogen gamma,
transthyretin, haptoglobins, and serum amyloid A (SAA). The differential expression
of SAA was validated and quantitatively assayed by ELISA. SAA plasma levels were found
to be above 3.51 mg/L in HELLP-syndrome and below 3.51 mg/L in the nonHELLP-group.
The intention is to generate protein profiles that could function as marker signature
for the HELLP syndrome.
