Abstract: Concerning the optimization of heatable electrochemical sensors for developing a selectively heatable multi-electrode-array, the uncoupling of AC heat current was realized, an enhancement of electrochemically active surface with the help of galvanic modifications was reached and simulations of the temperature allocation at miniaturized electrodes were performed. Furthermore a temperature-pulse-amperometry was developed, successfully. Preliminary studies on labeling RNA with the redox-active complex [OsO4(bipy)] and following detection were successful.
