Die Dissertation befasst sich mit dem Rechtsschutz gegen Fluglärm im Bereich von zivilen
Verkehrsflughäfen. Insbesondere wird die Frage des rechtlichen Vorgehens gegen die
Verlegung der An- und Abflugrouten diskutiert, die von den Flugzeugen für den An-
und Abflug benutzt werden und die Flughäfen mit den Hauptluftverkehrsstrecken verbinden.
Die An- und Abflugrouten sind die Hauptursache für Fluglärm in der Umgebung von Flughäfen.
Als Ergebnis ist festzuhalten, dass der Rechtsschutz gegen die Festlegung der An-
und Abflugrouten verbessert werden muss, indem man die Verlegung der An- und Abflugrouten
in das luftverkehrsrechtliche Planfeststellungsverfahren integriert.

This thesis analyses legal protection against air traffic noise in the surrounding
of civil airports. Especially discussed is, how to proceed against the fixation of
air routes that are used by planes for approaching and departing the airport and that
connect airports with the main airways. These air routes are the chief cause for air
traffic noise in the surrounding of airports. One has to reach the conclusion that
legal protection against the fixation of these air routes has to be improved by integrating
the fixation in the licence procedure for airports of German air traffic law.
