Abstract: In order to test the risk of genetically modified compounds in plants an in vitro digestion method was developed. The genetically modified plants were treated with digestion enzymes. In the second part the supernatant is filled into the luminal part of the Ussing chamber. Mucosa from terminal ileum is mounted in the Ussing chamber. The experiment shows a Transport of GFP and VP 60 from the mucosal to the serosal compartment. The transport rates are very marginal, but a transport into the blood is possible.
