Abstract: A process for the production of hydroxyapatite crystallites with a bone mineral identical crystal morphology was developed in a technical scale. The synthesized nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite was used for the further development of available bone grafting materials on the market. A bioresorbable and for the first time injectable bone augmentation material was developed using the synthesized HA nanocrystals.
