Abstract: The aim of this work was the investigation of the homing capacity of human CD 133+ bone marrow stem cells in non bone marrow tissue in vivo. Intravital mikroscopic investigations of cremaster model on SCID mice were performed. The endothelial rolling and the endothelial adhesion of the human CD 133+ stem cells were analysed. It could be shown that the human CD 133+ stem cells are able spontaneously to migrate in the peripherial tissues, which potential is strengthened under influencing of SDF-1 and TNF alpha. Thereby the endothelial CXCR4 plays a critical role.
