abstract: |
Hierarchical ZSM-5 based catalysts have been successfully developed and their catalytic
performance was evaluated in the cracking of model feedstock triolein and real feedstock
waste cooking oil under FCC conditions. The results showed that the introduction of
mesoporosity increases the utilization of zeolite acid sites by the enlarged external
surface, leading to the enhanced conversion. At the same time, it partially suppresses
the undesired secondary reactions by shortening micropore diffusion path lengths,
leading to the improved selectivity toward gasoline and light olefins.
