Abstract: Influence of different reaction parameters to control defined product properties in double-metal-cyanide catalyzed copolymerization of propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. These characteristic values could be improved to a large intent, mainly through application of solvents in the process. It was possible to get reproducible processes and products with defined properties, by varying different reaction conditions like temperature, carbon dioxide pressure, catalyst concentration and mole fraction of the chosen solvent.
