Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit quantitativen UV/Vis-spektroskopischen
Untersuchungen an Rhodiumkomplexen, welche in der homogenen Katalyse Anwendung finden.
Zunächst wurden Stabilitätskonstanten von Rhodium-Aromatenkomplexen bestimmt. Es zeigte
sich, dass mit Arylhalogeniden eine oxidative Addition am Rhodium stattfindet. Ausgewählte
Produkte wurden charakterisiert und ihr Einsatz als Katalysator für die C-C-Kupplung
getestet. Des Weiteren wurde die Geschwindigkeit der Ligandensubstitution von neutralen
Zweikernkomplexen des Typs [Rh(Diolefin)(Cl)]2 durch Bisphosphane bestimmt.

This thesis reports quantitative UV/Vis-spectroscopic investigations into rhodium
bisphosphane complexes which are applied in homogeneous catalysis. First the stability
constants of some rhodium arene complexes were determined. When the coordinated arene
was an aryl halide, its oxidative addition to rhodium took place. Selected products
of the oxidative addition were characterized and tested as catalysts in C-C bond formation
reactions. Furthermore the rate of the in situ ligand-exchange of neutral dinuclear
rhodium complexes was determined.
