Abstract: This thesis deals with the influence of different structural features of phosphorus-containing ligands on the properties of homogeneous catalysts using the example of rhodium catalyzed hydroformylation of alkenes. For this purpose, several phosphites were synthesized. These were tested afterwards as ligands in the hydroformylation of n-octenes. The activity and n-selectivity were evaluated and the stability towards hydrolysis investigated. Two PNP pincer ligands and their rhodium complexes were synthesized. These and a triphosphine were subsequently tested in the hydroformylation of 1-octene.
