Abstract: The intention of the thesis is to introduce patient-individual control concepts to maintain the therapy pressure of a breathing therapy device. The obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, which is characterized by an occlusion of the upper airways, is treated with the help of a generated continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). The model predictive and the iterative learning control are developed on an existing breathing therapy device for feasibility. Both control concepts are examined in a simulation, on the hardware model and on the patient.
