This dissertation analyses the effect of behavioural aspects on the decision-making
in healthcare. The objective is to determine factors influencing the perception of
the value of health in Germany. Results indicate that the perception of the value
of health in Germany is affected by determinants besides the (perceived) benefit of
the intervention. This result is found on an institutional level (pharmaceutical price
negotiation) and on an individual level (willingness to pay).

Diese Dissertation analysiert den Einfluss von Verhaltensaspekten auf die Entscheidungsfindung
im Gesundheitswesen. Ziel ist es, Einflussfaktoren auf die Wahrnehmung des Wertes
von Gesundheit in Deutschland zu ermitteln. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass
die Wahrnehmung des Wertes von Gesundheit in Deutschland nicht nur von dem (wahrgenommenen)
Nutzen der Intervention beeinflusst wird. Dieses Ergebnis findet sich auf institutioneller
Ebene (Arzneimittelpreisverhandlung) und auf individueller Ebene (Zahlungsbereitschaft).
