Abstract: Despite the high incidence of urological tumor diseases, the empirical evidence on psychosocial stress and needs for support during treatment and in psycho-oncological interventions can be rated as low. In practice it has been shown that a significant proportion of urological cancer patients are emotionally stressed and require targeted psycho-oncological treatment. The aim would be to clarify differentiating criteria (patient - time - intervention - outcome) in order to ensure optimized treatment planning and allocation in the future.
