Das Risiko im Laufe seines Lebens an einer Leistenhernie zu erkranken ist mit knapp
30% für das männliche Geschlecht hoch, die Leistenhernienoperation ist eine der häufigsten
Eingriffe in der Allgemeinchirurgie. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht den Einfluss
der Operationstechniken nach Lichtenstein, TAPP und Desarda auf den intra- und postoperativen
Verlauf und die Lebensqualität der Patienten. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es zu hinterfragen,
ob sich in der längerfristigen Betrachtung die Empfehlung der aktuellen Leitlinie
einen minimalinvasiven Ansatz zu präferieren, aufrechterhalten lässt.

The risk of developing an inguinal hernia in the course of one's life is high for
the male sex at just under 30%, and inguinal hernia repair is one of the most common
procedures in general surgery. This study examines the influence of the surgical techniques
according to Lichtenstein, TAPP and Desarda on the intra- and postoperative course
and the quality of life of the patients. The aim of this work is to question whether
the recommendation of the current guideline to prefer a minimally invasive approach
can be maintained in the longer term.
