Abstract: The presented study provides important information on the correlations between hyperglycemia, osmotic load, and volume regulation using data collected from June 2016 to March 2018. In the analysis, both already known and new correlations related to blood glucose metabolic disturbances and their physiological impact could be found. The results of this study were published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences 2020 in July 2020 under the title "Diabetes mellitus and hypertension - a case of sugar and salt".
