Abstract: In this thesis, an experiment is presented which emulates the quite realistic scenario of phase information loss. For this purpose, a completely phase-randomized two-mode squeezed state was established. The presence of quantum correlations are certified via negativities in the regularized Glauber-Sudarshan P function - a rarely considered concept of nonclassicality of light - while other contemporary concepts like entanglement or quantum coherence fail to certify the quantumness of the state. The results include a comprehensive error analysis of the reconstructed state.
