In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden verschiedene Methoden zur selektiven Darstellung
von cis-Cedran-8,9-diol ausgehend vom Naturstoff alpha-Cedren etabliert. Eine direkte
Syntheseroute konnte erfolgreich auf weitere Terpene angewandt werden. Auch die korrespondierenden
1,3-Diole konnten synthetisiert werden. Anschließend wurden die jeweiligen Acetale
hergestellt und hinsichtlich ihrer olfaktorischen Eigenschaften untersucht.

In the present work different methods for the selective Synthesis of cis-cedrane-8,9-diol
starting from the natural occuring cedrene were established. A direct synthetic pathway
was successfully applied to other terpenes. In addition the corresüonding 1,3-diols
have been synthesized as well. Eventually, the respective acetals were formed and
analyzed regarding their olfactory properties.
