Abstract: The PROTEX-SPR-MS method has unveiled several epitopes with promising medical applications, including an epitope peptide suitable for antibody removal in Fabry's disease. Additionally, an epitope conducive to early heart muscle injury diagnosis was identified and characterized.Furthermore, PROTEX-SPR-MS has been employed to study two distinct single-stranded DNA aptamers interacting with a tumor biomarker protein. This analysis has revealed that aptamers have remarkably similar affinity and epitope binding to antibodies, suggesting their potential utility in medical applications.
