Die Mixed Methods Studie untersucht, inwieweit das Lernen mit Kompetenzrastern die
Erfüllung der Basic Needs von Schüler*innen im inklusiven Biologieunterricht fördert.
Die Fragebogenstudie (N=92) zeigt, dass das Autonomieerleben und die Soziale Eingebundenheit
signifikant stärker gefördert werden als im Regelunterricht. Die Interviewstudie (N=12)
deutet auch auf die Förderung des Kompetenzerlebens hin. Auf Grundlage von Fallanalysen
(N=6) wurden Handlungsempfehlungen für einen Basic Needs orientierten Biologieunterricht
mit Kompetenzrastern entwickelt und in Form von Mindmaps zusammengefasst.

The mixed methods study investigates to what extent learning with competence grids
promotes the fulfillment of the basic needs of students in inclusive biology lessons.
The questionnaire study (N=92) shows that the experience of autonomy and relatedness
are promoted significantly more than in regular classes. The interview study (N=12)
also points to the promotion of the experience of competence. Based on case analyses
(N=6), practical recommendations for a basic needs-oriented biology education with
competence matrices were developed and summarized in the form of mind maps.
