Entscheidend für eine der größten privaten qualitätsgesicherten Biobanken ist die
standardisierte Aufarbeitung der Proben sowie die umfassende Charakterisierung der
Modelle. Die vergleichende pathomorphologische Analyse und die genetische Identitätsprüfung
bestätigten die große Nähe der HROC-Xenobank Modelle zu den ursprünglichen Patiententumoren.
Darüber hinaus rekapitulierten die Modelle präzise die Mutationsprofile der primären
Patiententumoren und die klinische Situation wird in den HROC Modellen repräsentiert.
Dies stellt die perfekte Grundlage für weitergehende Untersuchungen dar.

Standardized processing of samples and comprehensive characterization of models are
crucial for one of the largest private quality-assured biobanks. Comparative pathomorphological
analysis and genetic identity testing confirmed the close proximity of the HROC-Xenobank
models to the original patient tumors. Additionally, the models accurately recapitulated
the mutation profiles of the primary patient tumors, and the clinical situation is
represented in the HROC models. This provides an excellent basis for further investigations.
