Abstract: The study examines the introduction of a digital teaching concept in ENT at Rostock University Medical Center. The concept includes surgical teaching, an e-visit and a learning program. The results show that e-learning is seen as a supplement to face-to-face teaching and not as a substitute. The live surgery concept in particular was rated positively. The effectiveness study shows that e-learners perform better than conventional learners in certain areas. The study concludes that e-learning can be seen as beneficial in a blended learning approach.
