Abstract: Early studies enable high school students to attend university courses. The study compares cognitive and non-cognitive performance-related competencies of early and regular students. Analyses of cognitive competencies show that early students receive significantly better grades than regular students (t (753) = -12.95, p < 0.001, d = 0.87), without measurable differences in number-connection tests. Regarding most non-cognitive competencies, early students show significantly higher (better) mean values than regular students (e.g. interest, NFC, etc.).
