In this thesis, reductive and non-reductive catalytic routes for the utilization and
valorization of CO2 and other renewable resources are investigated. The focus is on
the development of sustainable catalytic systems based on earth abundant metals, organocatalysts
and enzymes, that can operate under mild conditions.

In dieser Arbeit werden reduktive und nicht-reduktive katalytische Wege zur Nutzung
und Wertschöpfung von CO2 und anderen erneuerbaren Ressourcen untersucht. Der Schwerpunkt
liegt auf der Entwicklung nachhaltiger katalytischer Systeme auf Basis von leicht
verfügbaren Metallen der Erdkruste, Organokatalysatoren und Enzymen, die unter milden
Bedingungen arbeiten können.
