Abstract: In the present study, correlations between the language skills of preschool children (N = 49) and their attachment representations as well as different linguistic abilities of children with different attachment patterns are among others examined separately on the individual language levels, a qualitative language analysis of children's story completion (GEV-B, Gloger-Tippelt & König, 2016) is carried out and a contribution to theory development is made.
