Abstract: Group training for patients with chronic back pain in a GP setting is suitable for positively influencing pain symptoms and clinical parameters. The inclusion of MFAs in the behavioral therapy-based training of chronic back pain patients improves the quality of care for this patient group. This concept reduces the time burden on GPs. It is clear that MFAs can be successfully included in the active care of chronically ill patients in a multi-professional team after appropriate qualifications.
