Für die elektrochemische Herstellung von Molekülen werden häufig bestimmte Elektrokatalysatoren
(Mediatoren) in organischen Lösungsmitteln eingesetzt. Diese erzeugen in der Aufarbeitung
der Reaktion zusätzlich Kosten und Abfälle. Ebenfalls sind die üblicherweise genutzten
Lösungsmittel oft gesundheits- und umweltschädlich. Diese Arbeit setzt sich mit TEMPO-Polymediatoren
auseinander, welche die Aufarbeitung der Reaktionsgemische vereinfachen sollen. Des
weiteren werden Propylen- und Dimethylcarbonat als alternative, nachhaltige Lösungsmittel
für organische Elektrosynthesen untersucht.

Certain electrocatalysts (mediators) in organic solvents are often used for the electrochemical
production of molecules. These generate additional costs and waste in the processing
of the reaction. The solvents commonly used are also often harmful to health and the
environment. This work deals with TEMPO polymediators, which are intended to simplify
the work-up of the reaction mixtures. Furthermore, propylene carbonate and dimethyl
carbonate are investigated as alternative, sustainable solvents for organic electrosynthesis.
