Die Dissertation behandelt die Entwicklung von photoredox-katalysierten Reaktionen.
Eine radikalische Dreikomponenten-Kupplung wurde untersucht, um difunktionalisierte
Succinimide darzustellen. Zudem wurde eine photoredox-katalysierte C–O-Bindungsreduktion
von α-Keto-N,O-Acetalen entwickelt und auf tricyclische Azepino[1,2-a]indole angewandt.
Abschließend wurde eine Tandem-C–O-Bindungsreduktions-/Ketylradikal-Additionsreaktion
zur Synthese cyanoethylsubstituierter Azepino[1,2-a]indole untersucht, wobei auf einen
PCET-vermittelten Mechanismus geschlossen werden konnte.

The dissertation focuses on the development of photoredox-catalyzed reactions. A radical
three-component coupling was investigated to synthesize difunctionalized succinimides.
Furthermore, a photoredox-catalyzed C–O bond reduction of α-keto-N,O-acetals was developed
and applied to tricyclic Azepino[1,2-a]indoles. Finally, a tandem C–O bond reduction/ketyl
radical addition reaction for the synthesis of cyanoethyl-substituted Azepino[1,2-a]indoles
was explored, providing evidence for a PCET-mediated mechanism.
