Die Dissertation entwickelt eine transformative Wirtschaftspädagogik vor dem Hintergrund
ökologischer, sozialer und epistemologischer Krisen. Sie kritisiert etablierte Formen
ökonomischer Bildung und rekonstruiert Forschung als gesellschaftlich mitverantwortliche
Praxis. Über eine kritische Analyse der Disziplin, die Auswertung eigener Beiträge
und eine theoretische Skizze auf Basis von Bateson und Bronfenbrenner entsteht eine
Heuristik, die Wissenschaft und Bildung als gestaltbare, miteinander verwobene Felder
neu ausrichtet.

The dissertation develops an approach to transformative economic education against
the backdrop of ecological, social and epistemological crises. It critiques established
forms of economic education and reconstructs research as a practice carrying societal
responsibility. Through a critical analysis of the discipline, an examination of the
author’s own contributions and a theoretical outline drawing on Bateson and Bronfenbrenner,
it proposes a heuristic that reorients science and education as intertwined and intentionally
shapeable fields of practice.
