Abstract: Fatigue is a prevalent symptom in liver cirrhosis (LC) patients, but its causes and management remain unclear. This study aimed to evaluate fatigue prevalence, explore its associations and identify biomarkers in LC patients while observing the effect of intensified nutritional therapy. Among 56 LC patients, 68 % experienced fatigue, linked to anxiety, depression and loneliness. Key predictors of fatigue in LC patients included gait speed, waist circumference and Insulin-like growth factor-1. Intensified nutritional therapy may help alleviate fatigue presenting potential investigation area.
