Abstract: High-purity samples are necessary for sensitive analyses in bioanalytics, which requires complex, labor-intensive preparation processes. In this work, a flexible automation concept is developed and realized. The system is based on a Cartesian pipetting robot, into which numerous additional devices are integrated for the automation of complex sample preparation processes. Based on four exemplary applications, the quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of the system are demonstrated.
