Während der Unterbringung eines Patienten in der forensischen Psychiatrie können zur
Verhinderung einer akuten Gefährdung der Zimmereinschluss (ZE) oder Zimmerverweis
(ZV) vollzogen werden. Ziel dieser explorativen Studie war es, die Erfahrungen forensischer
Patienten und Mitarbeiter mit diesen Maßnahmen qualitativ zu untersuchen. Die qualitative
Inhaltsanalyse erbrachte, dass bei Patienten insbesondere negative Erfahrungen dominieren.
Die berichteten Bewertungen, Auswirkungen und gewünschten Veränderungen bezüglich
des ZE und ZV waren zwischen Patienten und Mitarbeitern zumeist kongruent.

During treatment in forensic psychiatric settings, separation in a room with and without
locking can be carried out against the patient's will in order to prevent acute harm
to the patients themselves or others. The aim of this study was to explore the experiences
of patients and staff of separation. The qualitative content analysis revealed a predominance
of negative experiences among patients. The evaluations, effects and desired changes
reported in connection with these measures were mostly congruent between patients
and staff.
