Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the circadian gene expression in primary human-derived dermal fibroblast cultures after exposure to fluvoxamine and T3. The results demonstrate that both substances have an impact on circadian gene expression. Fluvoxamine caused a significant effect on the expression of the circadian genes Cry1 and Per1–3 in fibroblasts derived from a cohort of participants without neuropsychiatric disorders. The incubation of fibroblasts derived from ADHD patients with T3 showed significant effects on the expression of all circadian genes investigated.
