Diese Arbeit bietet methodische Unterstützung bei Einführung IKT-basierter Medizinprodukte
in der EU durch Analyse und Integration relevanter Prozesse und Anforderungen in ein
Enterprise-Architecture-Modell. Die Forschung kombiniert Literaturrecherche, deduktive
Argumentation und Design Science Research. Das Modell wurde umfassend evaluiert. Hauptbeiträge
sind (1) die Strukturierung und Interpretation relevanter Normen für Hersteller, (2)
ein partielles Enterprise-Architecture-Modell und (3) der Nachweis der Anwendbarkeit
dieses Modells für Marktteilnehmer.

This thesis provides methodological support for the introduction of ICT-based medical
devices in the EU by analyzing and integrating relevant processes and requirements
into an enterprise architecture model. The research combines literature review, deductive
reasoning and design science research. The model was comprehensively evaluated. Main
contributions are (1) the structuring and interpretation of relevant standards for
manufacturers, (2) a partial enterprise architecture model and (3) the demonstration
of the applicability of this model for market actors.
