Abstract: Automated driving can free users' travel time for recreation or productivity. Nevertheless, seamless human-machine interaction between the user and the system is key to its adoption. Personalized information offerings play a central role in this context. Thus, this work develops, implements, and evaluates an adaptation model to personalize the information offering according to individual user characteristics and preferences. To this end, two driving simulator studies and a user study are performed. The proposed adaptation model significantly enhances users' perception of the user interface.
