This dissertation introduces itsVALUE: a method, modeling notation, and ADOxx-based
toolset for stakeholder value-oriented IT Service Management. It addresses a key gap
in ITSM by focusing on perceived stakeholder value. itsVALUE integrates established
modeling approaches (e.g., VSM 4.0, VDML) into a coherent framework with artifacts
like the Value Perception Model. Developed iteratively and validated through a real-world
case & external evaluation, the method proves highly applicable and relevant, offering
strong potential for future research, enterprise modeling, and digital transformation.

Diese Dissertation stellt itsVALUE vor: eine Methode, Modellnotation und Toolset zur
stakeholderzentrierten Gestaltung von IT-Services. Im Fokus steht die Wahrnehmung
von Wert durch Stakeholder, ein Aspekt, der in bestehenden ITSM-Ansätzen oft vernachlässigt
wird. itsVALUE integriert etablierte Modellierungsansätze (u.a. VSM 4.0, VDML) in
ein konsistentes Framework mit Artefakten wie dem Value Perception Model. Die Methode
wurde iterativ entwickelt, in der Praxis erprobt & extern evaluiert. Die Ergebnisse
belegen hohe Anwendbarkeit, Relevanz und Erweiterungspotenzial für Forschung und Praxis.
