This dissertation investigates algorithms and a cloud-based spatial data infrastructure
(SDI) for the site-specific management of water and nutrients based on sensor data.
An open-source SDI integrated sensor data, maps, and decision-support outputs within
an OGC/ISO-compliant framework. A Python-based DSS automatically generated fertigation
maps for a hose-reel irrigation system. Field trials in Germany, France, and Turkey
demonstrated the feasibility of the developed system.

Diese Dissertation entwickelt Algorithmen und eine Geodateninfrastruktur (GDI) für
die teilflächenspezifische Bewässerung und Düngung auf Grundlage von Sensordaten.
Mittels einer cloudbasierten GDI wurden Sensordaten, Karten und Ergebnisse der Entscheidungsunterstützung
(DSS) innerhalb eines OGC/ISO-konformen Rahmens integriert. Ein Python-basiertes DSS
erzeugte automatisiert Applikationskarten für ein modifiziertes Schlauchtrommel-Beregnungssystem.
Feldversuche in Deutschland, Frankreich und der Türkei bestätigten die technische
Machbarkeit des entwickelten Systems.
