In this thesis, novel glucose-derived salts with diverse structures were synthesized
in short steps. These salts were applied as organocatalysts in an aza-Diels-Alder
reaction, as precursors for the synthesis of Palladium catalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura
reaction and as phase-transfer catalysts for a biphasic Kolbe nitrile synthesis. In
all three topic the investigation of the structure-activity relationships between
the structure of the glucose-derived salt and its activity in the aforementioned catalytic
reactions have been the key point of research.

In dieser Arbeit wurden neue Glucose-basierte Salze mit diversen Strukturelementen
in wenigen Schritten synthetisiert. Diese Salze wurden als Organokatalysatoren in
einer aza-Diels-Alder Reaktion, als Vorstufe für die Synthese von Palladiumkatalysatoren
für die Suzuki-Miyaura Reaktion und als Phasentransferkatalysatoren für eine zweiphasige
Kolbe Nitril Synthese angewendet. In allen drei Themen stand die Untersuchung der
Strukur-Eigenschaftsbeziehungen zwischen der Struktur der Glucose-basierten Salze
und ihrer Aktivität in den zuvor genannten katalytischen Reaktionen im Kern der Forschung.
