Abstract: Rosacea is a common chronic inflammatory dermatosis with heterogeneous clinical manifestations and a multifactorial pathogenesis. In addition to genetic and neurovascular influences, inflammatory processes play a central role. As established therapies often show only limited efficacy, there is a need for innovative approaches. In our pilot study, cold atmospheric plasma led to a significant reduction in inflammatory lesions and erythema, as well as an improvement in quality of life.
