Abstract: This report presents findings from the "GEP Analysis" initiative, which examines gender inequality in the film industry across 34 Eurimages countries and Canada. The study analyzes the composition of key creative teams (directors, screenwriters, producers) for all fiction feature films released between 2010 and 2020, using data from Lumiere, IMDb, and other sources. The research highlights the persistent underrepresentation of women in key creative roles, despite some progress in certain countries. By comparing national film industries, the report provides insights into gender disparities and aims to inform policy changes at both national and European levels.
