abstract: |
Our systematic literature search provides no new, unexpected or unique safety profile
for biologics used in asthma therapy in children and adolescents compared to descriptions
of the respective product labels. Many common AEs occurred across both short-term
and long-term studies. These AEs were expected and in line with prior safety information
on these drugs. However, the long-term safety of biologics, particularly that of rare
or serious conditions, still requires careful monitoring.
